

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Fitzpatrick Versen, a truly gifted artist and hairstylist, whose creativity and passion touched countless lives. She passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving friends and family. Known for her incredible talent and boundless energy, Linda was the life of every party, lighting up rooms with her vibrant personality, quick wit, and infectious laughter. Whether through her artistry on canvas or the magic she worked with hair, she had an unparalleled ability to make everyone feel special and beautiful. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family deeply and found her greatest joy in their love and laughter. Her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support were gifts that will be treasured forever by those she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Rose Quinilty (Tommy), and her siblings, Paul Fitzpatrick, Paulette Bordelon, Caroline Merritt and Vernon Kent Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her loving husband, Alfred “Dude” Versen; her children, Jodi Leblanc (Robert) and Ryan Versen (Vicki); her grandchildren, Wesley LeBlanc (Mirabella), Reed LeBlanc (Dolly), Dillon Duplessis (Kayla), Jimmy LeBlanc (Maegen), Kaci Picou (Nathaniel) and Sydney Versen; her great-grandchildren, Julian, Gabriel, Christian, Robert, Dillon Jr and Adan; her best friend C.C. Durnin and numerous nieces and nephews along with her furry friends, Lillie and Bear. Linda’s family would like to sincerely thank Gentiva Hospice for the loving care and compassion they provided. Special thanks to Zhanna, Agalia, Shelley, Emily, Amber and Chaplin Eddie for their unwavering kindness and support. Your dedication brought comfort and peace during a difficult time, and we are forever grateful. Services for Linda will be on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy Gonzales, La 70737. Visitation will be from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am. She will be laid to rest at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park Hwy 73, Prairieville, La. Pallbearers will be, Wesley LeBlanc, Dillon Duplessis, Jimmy LeBlanc, Nathaniel Picou, John Versen, and Brayden Bortnick.
