I’m so sorry that I was not aware of Louis’ passing until recently.  I worked closely with Louis when he was Business Manager of Local 198 to which he was dedicated.  I was witness to his hard work and enjoyed his humor, even when the practical joke was turned on me!  After Hurricane Katrina, Louis was the first person to contact me and see if I was OK.  I will never forget that.  My sincere condolences to the entire family.  Nancy Picard

It is just as difficult writing this as I find myself every day staring across the street looking to see what Mr Louis may need help with or just to shoot the $hi+ . I thank you for overlooking  my family and property. We were more than neighbors for the past 28 years…. We are family. Thank you. 😞

I am so sad at the passing of Louis . He was a big part of our family my brother Dennis, and he went hunting all the time. And every time mama made her chocolate pecan candy. Dennis brought some to Louis. He had to have some lol.I’m gonna miss that big beautiful smile.  I had many fond memories of being there and Kid sitting with Eric while MaryAnne and Louis had to go to work.

Mr. Leblanc, I already miss you so much. Before I came to live in the neighborhood, you had already welcomed me with so much kindness. You helped me get my yard in order. To think that I will not be able to walk down the street with Mattie to visit you is heartbreaking. You were the pillar of our little community in Sorrento.  The captain of the neighborhood who always knew what was going on. You are an amazing man and I’m so lucky to have the time I did have with you. I’m so lucky my boys got to know you and love you too. I knew our time was dwindling down but I did not expect it to end so quickly. I hope you are able to see your beloved Fritz in heaven. Just know that we will miss you every day here on earth. I love you and miss you already until we meet again.
