

Louis was born to parents, Wilton and Bertha LeBlanc, on May 15, 1939 in Sorrento, LA. He was a 60 year member of Local Union 198, working as a welder and also serving 12 years as Business Manager of Local 198. Louis also served in the Louisiana National Guard CO A 769 Engr. Bn from 1962-1968, being Honorably Discharged as Staff Sergeant. Louis was also an avid hunter, but above all else he was a family man who found joy in being with his grandkids and nieces.
Louis is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Tate LeBlanc; sons, Charles “Chuck” LeBlanc (Rachel Trahan LeBlanc) and Eric LeBlanc (Sonia Vinet); grandchildren, Taryn Broussard (Joshua), Braedan LeBlanc, Lauren Ann LeBlanc, Hunter John LeBlanc, Haley Lee LeBlanc, Lacey Cecile LeBlanc; and great grandchildren, Logan Broussard, Gavin Broussard and Aiden Broussard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Bertha LeBlanc; siblings, Carlton “Blackie" LeBlanc and Yula LeBlanc; and grandchild, Logan Michael LeBlanc.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA, with a Visitation beginning at 9:30 until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM. A committal service is to immediately follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory on Hwy 30.
