

A resident of St. Amant, Lou passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the age of 83. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Electrician with 20 years of service. Lou spent his free time working puzzles and building model airplanes. He also was a dedicated Rosary maker for Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS where he would hand deliver thousands of rosaries to be given away.
He is survived by his children, Connie Hebert, Trina Russell and Butch Hebert. He also leaves behind his sister, Eve Poche’; brother, Leon Hebert and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Jamie Simoneaux, Mary, Brian, Aimee, and Trevor Hebert; and great grandchildren, Owen James, Marcus Iscoa, and Neveah Hebert.
Lou was preceded in death by his wife, Carla Alene Hebert; parents, Vincent, Sr. and Rosalie Gautreau Hebert; and brothers, Vincent, Jr. and Leus Hebert.
A memorial visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 9 am until service at 11 am. Entombment will follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum, Gonzales.
The family would like to thank everyone that knew and loved Lou. Each of you has meant so much to him and his family.
