Lucille retired from French Settlement Elementary School, where she served as secretary for many years. She was known for her kind heart, gracious spirit, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her sister, Netty Acosta of French Settlement; nephews, Reggie Favaron of French Settlement and Troy Favaron (Roger) of Baton Rouge; along with numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Felix Brignac, Jr.; her daughter, Rhonda Ann Brignac; her son, Mark Joseph Brignac; her parents, Ferdinand and Louise Guitreau Keller; sisters, Carolyn Keller and Edith Keller; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 10:00 am until noon., with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at noon. Burial will follow in the mausoleum.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Lucille’s cousins, Sandy Matherne and Cat Guitreau, who were always there for her in her time of need. Lucille was extremely grateful for their love, care, and kindness.
Lucille will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
