He was a graduate of Leon Godchaux Highschool, where he excelled in football track and playing the trumpet in the band.
Lynn had a career in the insurance industry. He was strong in his faith and was a long-time member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He had a passion for dancing (especially jitterbug) taking road trips and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Robichaux; children, Lynn “Sonny” Robichaux Jr., Denice Bailey, Jamie Robichaux and Dawn Bardwell; stepchildren, Lynette Chenevert, Chuck Chenevert and Alison Thibodeaux; twenty grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and siblings, J.L Robichaux and Peggy.
Lynn is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Robichaux; parents, Joseph and Ethelyn Robichaux; daughters, April Robichaux and Kristin Robichaux; brother, Bobby Robichaux and sister Veronice McKinney.
A visitation for Lynn will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. A second visitation will occur Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 412 Fir St, LaPlace, LA 70068. Mass will begin at 11:30AM.
Lynn will be laid to rest in St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA.
Serving as pallbearers are Chuck Chenevert , Brad Morgan , Brock Thibodaux, Daniel Bailey , Brandon Robichaux and Sonny Robichaux .
