Marc Todd Malbrough

Marc Todd Malbrough passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2021 at the age of 55 years. He was born and raised in Gonzales, La. and graduated from East Ascension High School in 1985. Marc was an avid fisherman and golfer and a damn good cook. He lived for playing his bass guitar and listening to music. Marc is survived by his wife of 22 years, Misty Crawford Malbrough; daughters, Kaleigh Campbell (Chris Chapman) and Kandace Malbrough; son, Matthew Matherne; sister, Stacy Malbrough; granddaughter and best friend in the whole wide world, Masyn Victoria Freed and a grandson on the way, Colt Myles Chapman; mother and father in law, Wanda and Troy Matthews; brothers-in-law, Mikel Crawford (Tracie) and Chris Shoeman (Brandy); nieces and nephews, Jared, Quinton, Ethan, Parker, Josh, Sarah, and Abby; godchild, Haily Luquette; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marc Malbrough and his mother, Vernell Eliser Bates; and grandparents, Jack and Rosina Malbrough.and John and Anisetta Eliser. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La. on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm and will resume on Tuesday at 9am with the service starting at 11am. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memory 604 E Hwy 30, Gonzales, LA 70737. Serving as pallbearers will be, Robbie Rossi, Blaise Aydell, Joshua Crawford, Mikel Crawford, Todd Luquette, Matthew Matherne, Darin “Duke” Stevens and Arthur “Dewitt” Aucoin.
