Marsha Knox Pennington passed away surrounded by her family on March 27, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born in McKinney, Texas and resided in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Marsha enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid reader. Her larger than life personality, contagious smile, and unconditional love for people will never be forgotten. Marsha is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Camille Knox and Kim Lee. She is survived by her partner, Gary Cochran; daughter, Kristi Cochran; son, Gary Paul Cochran Jr; sister, Leslie Rich; grandchildren, Aaden and Axel Griffith, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 4:30pm-7:00pm. A memorial service will follow visitation at 7:00pm.
