Marshal John Gautreau Jr.

A lifelong resident of Gonzales, he passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife, Sandra DeLaune Gautreau; mother, Margerie D. Gautreau; sisters, Barbara Gautreau Malbrough, Kathleen Gautreau Gordon and husband, Monroe; and brothers, Donnie Gautreau, Steve Gautreau and wife, Kathy. He is preceded in death by his father, Marshal J. Gautreau Sr.; and grandparents, F. Armond and Leah Gautreau, Moses and Enola Dille. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rubin Reynolds, celebrant. Interment will be in Carpenter’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Gautreau, Kenny Hammond, Tony Raffray, Rhett Cornett, Paul Ramiez Jr., and Mervin DeLaune. Honorary pallbearers will be Darwyn McCrory, Donnie Gautreau, Steve Gautreau, and Monroe Gordon.
