Mary Landry

Mary Landry a native of McComb Ms. and a resident of St George La passed away on Saturday, February, 22, 2025 of complications from liver failure. She was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Andrew Landry; parents, Richard and Evelyn Dunn; sister, Peggy Bonham; brothers, Richard Dunn and James Dunn. She is survived by her son, Richard "Rick" Landry (Wendy), and a daughter, Sarah Heximer (David) as well as six grandchildren, David Heximer III, Drew Heximer, Morgan Landry, Mariah Landry, Ashleigh Carpenter, Courtney Edwards, and seven great-grandchildren. Mary took great pride in her career as a registered nurse, being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting any and every surface she could, attending garage sales, going to the casino, and was a voracious reader that was seldom seen without her trusty Kindle. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at West Towne Assisted Living Facility where she spent her time playing games and doing activities with her fellow residents. She will be missed by all that knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Kyle Champagne and his medical assistant Lisha, Dr. Mathew Rolfson, the Staff of Pinnacle Home Health and Hospice, and the entire staff of West Towne Assisted Living Facility. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9 am to 11 am, with an informal memorial service at 11 am. Fellowship to follow.
