

Mary was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 4, 1976. She graduated from Belaire Medical Magnet High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Louisiana State University.
On December 4, 2003, Mary married her husband, Jason Paul Olinde. Together, they shared 22 years of marriage and built a life centered around their family.
Mary devoted her professional life to children and education. She worked as an educator and later as a case manager until the birth of her children, at which time she devoted her life to caring for her children and husband.
A woman of strong Catholic faith, Mary had a giving heart and a passion for volunteering and helping others. She was involved with the National Charity League and treasured opportunities to serve those around her. She loved LSU, spending time at the beach and in the mountains, and making memories with her family. A lifelong resident of the area, Mary’s greatest joy was the life she shared with those she loved.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jason Paul Olinde; her children, Matthew Thomas Olinde and Grace Elizabeth Olinde; her brother, Arthur Nicholas Lambert IV; and her sister, Aimee Lambert McGrew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacqueline Potts Lambert and Arthur N. Lambert III.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 9:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement, Louisiana. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. and interment to follow.
Mary will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her Catholic faith, her generous spirit, and the kindness she extended to others throughout her life.
