Mary Joyce Thibodeaux

Mary was the daughter of the late Eloi Vincent and Amy Lavergne Vincent. Throughout her working life, she worked as a secretary, including employment with LA DEQ and Vulcan Chemical. Outside of work, Mary enjoyed league bowling and operated her own boutique and frame shop. She will be remembered for the life she built, the interests she enjoyed, and most especially for the love she shared with her family.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Danny Paul Thibodeaux and wife Tricia Daigle Thibodeaux and David Dwayne Thibodeaux and wife Nancy Daigle Thibodeaux; her brothers, Preston Vincent and John Vincent; eight grandchildren, including, David Thibodeaux Jr., Jamie Frederic, Randi Raes, Christy Anthony, Amy Murphree, Glen Weil, Ally Weil Pate, and Emily Lambes; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Paul Thibodeaux; her parents, Eloi and Amy Vincent; grandson, J.B Weil; great great grandson, Grayson Nghia Weil and her sister, Massel Granger Tauzin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Landmark of Baton Rouge for the care and compassion shown to Mary.

Mary’s memory will live on through the many generations of her family and all those whose lives she touched.
