Mary Elizabeth Waguespack

A loving mother, "great" grandmother and a housewife, she passed away at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, in Baton Rouge. She was 90. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Monday, March 22, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation on Tuesday, March 23, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Bob Konopa, O.F.M. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Gonzales. She is survived by a son, Wallis J. "Wally" Waguespack III, of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Wallis "John" Waguespack IV and wife Desiree, of Gonzales, and Christopher "Thomas" Waguespack and wife Mackenzie, of St. Amant; and seven great-grandchildren, Bryant, Dylan, Blake, Tyler, Riley and Brockton Waguespack and Devyn Grounds. Preceded in death by her husband, Wallis J. Waguespack; parents, Charles and May Acy Fandal; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Bordelon Waguespack. Pallbearers will be Dylan Waguespack, Blake Waguespack, Tyler Waguespack, Riley Waguespack, Brockton Waguespack and Devyn Grounds.
