Mavis Taylor Baham a resident of Livingston, La. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 14, 2022 at the age of 76. She was a faithful member of Unity Prayer Center formerly known as Colyell Pentecostal Church for more than 40 years. She loved and served the Lord all of her life. She enjoyed going to the nursing home ministering to the elderly by spending time with them, playing music and telling them about the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Matthew “Junior” Baham Jr.; daughters, Kimberly Coulter (Troy Pady) and Jennifer Wheat (Cobby Wheat); son Robbie Baham; sister, Lavetra Harrell (Dewey); brothers, Alton Taylor (Mitzie) and Curtis Taylor (Angie); 5 grandchildren, Dawn Marie, Matthew, Tiffany, Meghan and Kage and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton “Bob” and Eula Lee Taylor. Pallbearers will be, Kevin Harrell, Cobby Wheat, Troy Pady, Earlin Morgan, Ramsey Morgan, Purvis Milton, Trey Milton, and Brent Milton and Honorary Pallbearers, Kage Wheat, Danny Harrell and Darren Harrell. A visitation will be held at Unity Prayer Center 28145 S. Frost Rd, Livingston, La. on Thursday, February 17th from 5 pm till 8 pm and will resume on Friday, February 18th at 9 am till funeral service at 11 am.
