Micheline Mitch Rousseau

Micheline "Mitch" Aubry Rousseau, 93, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Ascension Oaks in Gonzales, La. She was born in Paris, France, and resided in Maurepas, La., where she was a homemaker. Mitch loved to go to the casino, play Bingo and shop. Mitch is survived by 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Mimi and Gill Delatte of Maurepas, Jurry "Judy" Braud of St. Amant, and Jaynelle Delatte of Maurepas; 2 sisters, Janine and Marie-Claude; 7 grandchildren, Gill Delatte Jr., Nicole Back, Brock Delatte, Parrish Braud, Sean Braud, Ashley Punch and Meagan Delatte; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Adam "Blue" Rousseau; parents, Robert and Solange Aubry; 2 sons-in-law, Casey Braud and Kevin Delatte; and brother, Robert Aubry Jr. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Whitehall, La., from 9:00AM until Mass of Christian burial at 11AM, celebrant Rev. Jason Palermo. Interment will follow in the Whitehall Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gill Delatte Jr., Kaleb Delatte, Brock Delatte, Johnny Punch, Stacy Back and Landon Delatte.
