Mona will be remembered for her kind heart and welcoming spirit. She never met a stranger and always treated everyone like family. She enjoyed being a grandmother and loved spending time with her granddaughter. She worked hard but liked to party when the work was done. Mona was loved and will be missed greatly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Richard Landry, Sr. and brother, Michael “Speck” Landry.
She is survived by her daughter Charlene Young (Eric) and grandchild Everly Young; mother, Irene Landry; brothers, Charles Landry, Jr., Milton Landry, Jimmy Landry (Lori) and nephew Corey Landry.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 pm.
