A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Maringouin, she passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013. She was 88 and a retired secretary with the Bank of Gonzales.She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Coy Casso and wife, Teri and Kenny Casso and wife, Anna; grandchildren, Cori, Chelsi, and Lorenzo Casso; and brothers, Fred Militello and Donald Militello. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Casso, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Catherine Rizzo Militello; grandson, Ryan Casso; sisters, Annie M. Nola, Josie M. Babin, and Rose M. Pasqua; and a brother, Salvador Militello.
Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Gonzales from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Entombment to follow in Hope Haven Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Cori Casso, Lorenzo Casso, Fred Militello, Jr., Randy Militello, Murphy Painter, Robert Ambeau, and Jake Lambert.
