Patrick Lacy Loupe, Sr., age 72, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 6:25 p.m., surrounded by his loving family in Whitehall, LA. He was a native of Maurepas, LA and a retired Human Resource Manager for Formosa Plastics, Inc. He is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Timothy "Timmy" Vicknair and Kellye and Carl Babin; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Patrick Lacy Loupe, Jr. and Tracy Gomez Loupe; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Don Farrelly, Irma and Alvin Melancon, and Bonnie and Chester Bertrand; 8 grandchildren, Trent and Leia Vicknair, Justin, Chase and Brody Babin, and Lacy, Laigen and Landon Loupe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Melancon Loupe; parents, Joseph Lacy Loupe and Mary Ada Scivicque Loupe. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Whitehall, LA from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Jason Palermo. Burial will follow at the Whitehall Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timmy Vicknair, Carl Babin, Justin Babin, Chase Babin, Brody Babin Trent Vicknair and Landon Loupe.
