Ralph J Mayers

Ralph Jean Mayers, a native of Black Bayou and resident of Gonzales, La. passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 86 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors and was an avid reader. He was employed by Rubicon Chemical until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, V.J. and Cammie Blouin Mayers; brothers, John Wayne and Clark Mayers and a sister, Brenda Mayers. Ralph is survived by his brother, Barry Mayers (Erva) of Lake, La; sister, Darnell Mayers of Houston, Tx., and 6 nieces and 3 nephews. He is also survived by his friend and companion, Peggy Mayers. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9 am until funeral service at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 Hwy 429 St. Amant, La. 70774.
