OBITUARY

Mr. Remy Joseph Schexnayder Jr.

March 18, 1937June 3, 2010

Remy “T-Boy” Schexnayder Jr., age 73, died as a result of a tragic accident along with his special friend Linda Spruell on Thursday, June 3, 2010. He was a native of Burnside and a resident of French Settlement. He is survived by three sons, Ray Schexnayder and wife Missy, Brent Schexnayder and wife Karla, John Schexnayder and wife Dana; a daughter, Lisa Quick and husband Colon; nine grandchildren, Remy, Tyler, Breck, Landon and Austin Schexnayder, Corey Moran, Jordan Madere, Amber Cortez and Jade Lejeune; devoted former wife, Theresa Delaune Schexnayder; and good friend, Gloria Hidalgo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Remy Sr. and Alicia Schexnayder; two brothers and six sisters. Pallbearers will be Corey Moran, Jordan Madere, Tyler and Breck Schexnayder, Jeff Arnold and Dale Schexnayder. T-Boy was a retired pipefitter from Local 102 and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all. Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, on Thursday, June 10, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
