Richard Keller Gant

Richard Keller Gant, born on June 19, 1942, a resident of Gonzales, LA. He died on June 24, 2016 at the age of 74. He is survived by his son, Rocky Joseph Gant and wife, Michelle; daughters, Robbin Marie Debate and husband, Scott of St. Amant, LA, Rochelle Marie Turner and husband, Daniel of Ethel; grandchildren, Tara Gant, Donnie Lassetter, Jordan and Britt Debate, Raelyn Turner, and Danielle Turner Colbey and husband, Richard; sister, Margie Henderson of Liberty, MS; brother, Bill Gant of Clinton, LA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Ray; step father, Morris Nunnery; wife, Jeannette Templet Gant; half-sister, Ann Delatte. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 9:00 am until Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Amant Baptist Church Cemetery. Harold Templet, Richard Colbey, Sal Molea, Victor Molea, Hugh Fontenot, and Austin Gautreaux will serve as pallbearers. Rocky Gant and Sam Molea will serve as honorary pallbearers.
