91 marvelous years. Rita May Roullier LeBlanc was ushered into the arms of her loving savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. She was born on Oct 22,1933 to Felix and Camelia Roullier. Rita was the 5th of six children: Marie, Annie, Evelyn, Louis, and Elmo. She spent her childhood in St. Gabriel, Louisiana and at 18 years young met the love of her life, Lawrence Joseph LeBlanc. Together the Lord blessed them with 63 years of marriage and four children: Larry (Amy), Patti, Yvonne (Carey), and Sondra (Frank). Rita sprinted to eternity to be warmly welcomed by Lawrence, Patti, Sondra, grandchildren Dustin and Brady, and her siblings. She leaves in mourning, but also in eternal hope, her son Larry, daughter Yvonne, eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Rita will be remembered as a servant of the Lord, prioritizing her faith her entire life. She was the most thoughtful hostess, with each guest leaving her home full and with an extra treat for the road. She enjoyed clogging, sewing, and keeping an immaculate house. She made the best pralines, coconut cake, and brownies. Her nurturing spirit, generous nature and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Her life will be celebrated with a Catholic Mass on Monday, June 23, 2025. She will be laid to rest in Cornerview Cemetery. In honor of Rita, we ask that you pray to our Lord and Savior that all be given eyes that see and ears that hear the Good News. The family extends their deep gratitude to the doctors and staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Theresa Avila Catholic Church or Clarity Hospice.
