Robert "Bob" Roy Anderson

Robert Roy “Bob” Anderson a resident of Prairieville, La. passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 89 years. He proudly served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Rawls Anderson; children, Stephen Craig Anderson and his wife Pat, Cheri Lynn Anderson, David Roy Anderson and wife Miranda; Robert Nolan Anderson and wife Chandi; and Patrick Clay Anderson and wife Renee’; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; Sisters, Frances Swaggart, Peggy Messenger, and Linda Westbrook; and his fur-baby that he loved and adored, Moggy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Anderson and Sarah Lancaster Garner. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He loved old cars, fishing, hunting, gardening and watching sports, especially LSU, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:30AM until 12:30PM at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, the service will begin at 12:30PM.
