

Robert (Bob) Holdridge was welcomed into his new life on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was 76 years of age. He was a native of Burnside and a long longtime resident of Gonzales. Bob is survived by his wife, Crystal Trabeau Holdridge, son Shane Holdridge (Julie), grandchildren, Garrett Holdridge (Madeline) and Meagan David (Brenden), great-grandchild, Elliott Holdridge, mother, Joy Boudreaux Holdridge, and his siblings, Guy Holdridge (Jackie), Jill Holdridge, and Jean Holdridge Schaffer (David). He is also survived by his brother-in-laws, Ronnie Trabeau (Ann) and Kevin Trabeau, and his nieces and nephews of whom he was very proud. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert J. Holdridge, brother, Linwood J. Holdridge, brother-in-law, Chad Trabeau, and in-laws, Whitney and Arys Trabeau.
Bob was a graduate of the first graduating class of East Ascension High School (EAHS) and received his college degree from Southeastern University. He started as a teacher at Donaldsonville High School but spent his career in the Commercial/Industrial Air Conditioner and Heating industry.
Bob enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, and working in his shop.
A visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant from 9:00-10:30, immediately followed by a Catholic Burial Mass on Thursday, January 15, 2026. A graveside burial service will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made in his name to the Holy Rosary Food Pantry.
