My condolences to the family re Bob's death. Bob was a fine person and colleague when we worked together at the Shell Geismar Plant. We started essentially the same time in the sixties and I had the pleasure of returning to Geismar in mid 80s for 5 more years. Bob was in HSE at that time and again it was a great experience to work with him. I know he also was a good gardener and grew great tomatoes. Bob shared his method and I still use it.
Bottom line is he was a great person and we all will miss him.

I am sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked with him all of my career with Shell. He was a great guy to work with, he was always there to help out. I know he will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I worked at Shell Geismar in several roles, and always knew Bob to be a "laid back" kind of man. My son, Lee Tompkins, was in school with Bob's son and counted him among his friends.

My sincere condolences to your family.
