Roland Deshotel a resident of Denham Springs, La. passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. He was 79 years old a veteran of the United States Air Force. Visitation will be at South Walker Baptist Church 13719 Hammock Rd, Denham Springs, La on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 10 am until funeral at 1 pm. Burial will be at the Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ann Blanchard Deshotel; Children, Stacey Deshotel; Roland “Sonny” Deshotel Jr., Dawn, Robyn, and Jo Jo; Stepchildren, Art Clement and wife Linda, Mark Clement, Daniel Clement, and Jeanne Silk and husband Trey; Sisters, Helen and Hazel; Brothers, Carl, Tommy and Jr.; Grandchildren, Josh, Lauryn, Joseph, and Renee McFee, Jordan Ernst, Sarah and Miriam Silk, Josiah and Haley Clement, Ashlea Maranto and Brett Henderson ; and 1 Great Grandson, Elias McFee. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Eloy Sr. and Leona Gerard Deshotel and brother, Ralph Deshotel. Pallbearers will be, Art, Mark, Daniel and Josiah Clement, Trey Silk, Jordan Ernst, and Beau Cook. Honorary Pallbearer will be Scott Henderson.
