Ronald A Rhodes Sr.

A resident of St. Amant and long-time resident of St. Bernard Parish, he passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. He was 78 and a retired transit supervisor and dispatcher with RTA in New Orleans. He was also an 8 year member of the U.S. Navy Reserve. Visiting will be at St. Anne Catholic Church, Sorrento on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce Markham Rhodes; daughter, Kathleen Rhodes; sons, Ronald Rhodes, Jr. and David G. Rhodes and his wife, Darlene Hargis Rhodes; sister, Suzanne Stafford and husband, Pat; brother, Larry Rhodes and wife, Betty; his two beloved grandchildren, Lauren E. Rhodes and Sean D. Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Estelle Chaisson Rhodes.
