On August 22, 2018, Ronnie Nickens passed away. He is preceded in death by his wife Sheryl Nickens, daughter Rhonda Chizmark, his mother and father Mildred and Milburn Nickens, and sisters Faye Cook and Joy Stephens, and one brother-in-law Eddie Swain. He is survived by his sons Chuck Nickens and Dennis Nickens; brothers Tommy Nickens and wife Thelma Nickens, Henry Nickens and wife Judy Nickens; and sister Claire Swain; also numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Viewing and services will be Saturday, August 25th, at Oak Grove Baptist Church from 9 to 11 with burial at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Prairieville. A special thanks to the staff of Canon hospice for all their care through his time of need.
