A native and resident of Acy, Louisiana she was 94. She was a homemaker and Pink Lady Volunteer at East Ascension Hospital. She passed away March 27, 2013 in Gonzales, Louisiana. Visitation and religious service will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 from 9 A.M until services at 1:00 P.M at New River Baptist Church in St. Amant. Reverend Wayne Talley will conduct services. She is survived by two grandchildren Greg Tucker and David Everett and two great grandchildren Dawson Tucker, and Ashley Baggett, as well as devoted friend A.J. Lanoux. Husband Dawson Dixon, mother Francis Elizabeth Carpenter, father Samuel Washington Hanna, a daughter Judy Dixon Everett, five sisters, Natalie Savoy, Edith Amen, Eva Crate, Maybelle Sullivan and Delphine Babin, and two brothers Robert Hanna, and Joseph Hanna preceded her in death.
