Sandra Gail Andry

Sandra Gerlach Andry, 71 of Gonzales, La. passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of April 24, 2018 at her residence. Born on October 4, 1946 of Edwin and Marjorie Lard Gerlach in New Orleans, La. she graduated from Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, La. and then proceeded to receive her degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and embark on a career in the insurance field. Over the following years she lived in Portland, Oregon and New Orleans making friends on her journey. She met the love of her life, Tom Andry and they were wed on July 15, 1983. During their almost 35 years of marriage they made new friends and traveled the road together for years through life. At retirement they moved to Pelican Point to enjoy their lives together. Preceded in death by her parents and nephew Christopher Gerlach, she is survived by her husband Tom, brothers Edwin (Trudi) and Russell Gerlach and nephews Zachary (Leah) and Nicolas Gerlach. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, La. from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
