She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sean Turner; Chance "Bull" Turner and his wife, Danielle; and Willie Turner and his wife, Andrea. She was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren: Colt, Cimber, Wyatt, Ava, Max, Mandy, and Clare Turner. Sheila also leaves behind her cherished ride-or-die best friend, Jackie Dykes, whose friendship was a constant source of love and laughter throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Turner; her mother, Charlene Elrod Nichols; her father, Rodin Nichols; her beloved granddaughter, Addison Turner; and her nephew, Dustin Hartley.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sheila's life on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Magnolia Christian Assembly Church, 16425 Magnolia Bridge Road, Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 11:00 a.m.
Sheila's family will forever treasure the love she shared, the wisdom she offered, and the countless lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved her.
