Every time there was a family event like a wedding, birthday, or anniversary party, I always enjoyed chatting with Guy. In fact , at a 40th Birthday Party, he was standing by himself near the food when I approached him (as I only would see him at these sort of events) and slowly my coworkers joined us. We all chatted with him for a long time even though he barely knew my coworkers . In the most sullen of times , Guy could deliver a one- liner that could crack me up ,making me ashamed for laughing at a funereal. There was one time a friend of mine kept talking to me about this “guy” This “guy” was going to take her to his church. Well, this “guy” met me and it turned out to be Guy I couldn’t believe it. He even remembered I was his sister’s friend . I’ll always remember him wanting to sit next to his mother whenever the family took Ms Janet out to celebrate her birthday or Mother’s Day. If I’m not mistaken, it was Daylight savings and he either got to church one hour early or one hour late and mentioned that he didn’t know why the priest didn’t show up. I laughed so hard because I could just imagine the expression on his face telling that story Although I didn’t see him often, I always had good memories of him

Bless this family - Love Donna

I have so many memories of growing up with you as my step dad! Thank you for all the fatherly things you have done for me in life! For one ... Walking me down the isle! I pray that you are in peace in dancing with the angels! Because I know more than anyone else.... you sure could teach them to jitterbug! Because of you making us dance when we were young. I won a jitterbug contest in high school ! MEMORIES! that I will never forget. The good times! And using your glove when playing softball my senior year! I still have it! THANK YOU GUY!
