

Stewart Dean Gray, 91, a native of Otoe, Nebraska and resident of Gonzales, Louisiana died on December 8, 2023 peacefully in his home. He was born on January 16, 1932 to Albert and Marjorie Gray. He graduated from Byron High School in Byron, Nebraska. After High School he joined the United States Army and was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He was a long time Superintendent of CF Industries until his retirement. He loved to spend time traveling and exploring new places with the love of his life Rose Ann Keena Gray. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose Ann Keena Gray; parents, Albert Gray and Marjorie Roberson; granddaughter, Stephanie Epps; and brother, Daniel Gray. He is survived by his children, Jolene (Russ) Roy, Michelle Wheat, Cynthia Marchand, James (Jill) Gray, Rebecca (Smokey) Scanlan, Scott (Ezaine) Gray, Jennifer (Kirk) Lafitte; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Charlotte and Shirley; and 1 brother, Darrel. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA from 5pm-8pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Gonzales, LA from 9am-10:30am. Rosary at 9am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am. A committal service will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales, LA. Pallbearers proudly serving will be Rory Kling, Jeremy Epps, Justin Wheat, Arthur Scanlan, Jason Scanlan, Dillon Ordeneaux, and Randy Gray.
