Suzette Bergeron Toups

Suzette was a woman whose heart belonged first and foremost to the Lord and her family. Her greatest blessings in life were her children and grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure. She devoted her life to being a constant source of love, encouragement, strength, and unwavering support to those around her. Whether through a comforting word, a helping hand, or simply being present when someone needed her, Suzette had a beautiful way of making everyone feel loved and cared for.

She is survived by her loving children, Nicolas Wulfe, Candace Toups and her fiancé, Hunter Edwards, and Hannah Toups; and her five beloved grandchildren, Noelle Toups, Joselynne Toups, Rhyan Radovich, Allena Ferris, and Christopher Ferris, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Suzette was preceded in death by her parents, Judith Bergeron and Rodney Bergeron Sr., and her beloved son, TJ Toups. While her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, there is comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her precious baby boy in the arms of the Lord.

Though her family will deeply miss her voice, her hugs, and the countless little moments that made her so special, the love she gave so freely will live on through her children, grandchildren, and every life she touched.

Her earthly journey may have come to an end, but her greatest reward has just begun. She is home with her Lord, reunited with her son, and forever held in the arms of Jesus.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 10:00- 11:00 AM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA, 70737. The service will begin at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
