Sylvia S. Durbin, age 84, a resident of Denham Springs, La passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Ferguson (Steve), Celeste Smith, Meredith Couvillion (John), Michelle Smith (Rick), Bruce Franovich (Lori), Keith Franovich (Miranda), Malcolm Smith, and lagniappe daughter, Cecilee Ringuette (Ben); 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Durbin, Parents, Cecil and Edith Stockman; Grandson, Jonathon Alain; great-grandsons, Sage Hood, and Brody Burtt; Sister, Edna Smith, and brother, Aubrey Noland. Services for Sylvia will be held at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The funeral service will be at 12:30 pm. She will be laid to rest in Denham Springs Memorial. Pallbearers will be Mikail King, Seth Hood, Brandon Burtt, Christopher Franovich, Nicholas Smith, Kyle Alain, Ben Ringuette, and Alex Ringuette.
