Tammy Aline Robards

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Aline Robards of Maureps, LA, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, who departed this life on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at the age of 64.

Born on March 9th, 1961, Tammy lived a life full of adventures and held many different jobs, the most important of those titles were mother and grandmother (Meme). She was the proud mother of three daughters who were the light of her life. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

A lifelong lover of music and books, Tammy found comfort and adventure in the pages of a good story. She passed on this love of reading to her family, creating a legacy of imagination and curiosity. Whether she was going to concerts with her daughters, curled up with a novel or sharing a story with her grandchildren, her passion for words and music was a defining part of who she was.

Tammy's girls will remember her as their greatest cheerleader, fiercest protector and their very best friend. Her grandchildren will remember dancing and jamming with their Meme, her stories, silly antics and the way she made them all feel special.

Tammy is survived by her father, Allen Robards, her daughters; Emily Duncan (Josh), Jessica Clifton (Beau) and Chelsa Van Sickle (Bradley), her grandchildren; Hannah Guerrero, Abigail Clifton, Abigail Bible, Kain Clifton, Corban Leblanc and Atlas and Ryatt Van Sickle, her sisters Jeannie Robards, Terri Brown (Richard) and Shawn Stephens (Ed), who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. She also leaves behind countless loved ones and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Merle Bennett Robards, and her spouse, Clyde Joseph "Joe" Yarborough.

Per Tammy's wishes, no services will be held at this time. She wanted to be remembered in life, not mourned in death. As she was an avid animal lover, please feel free to make a donation in Tammy's memory to your local animal shelter or the ASPCA.
