

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he was born on February 4, 1937 to parents, Thelma Munster LeBlanc and William LeBlanc Sr. He entered into rest after a lengthy battle with cancer at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, April 05, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Prairieville, a retired supervisor carpenter for Picou brothers Construction, a veteran of the US Air Force, and a member of the American Legion Gautreau-Williams Post 81. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Broussard LeBlanc; three children, Denise Riley and husband Jeff, Scotty LeBlanc, and Melissa Savoy and husband Randy; five grandchildren, Toni Cambre and husband Kenny, Nick Riley and wife Jessica, Jaci Tapp and husband John, Matthew Savoy, and Shannon LeBlanc; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ann Mire and husband Forest, Delores Aime, and Catherine Ordoyne; brother, Ed LeBlanc and wife Carol; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Van Broussard and wife Carol, Henry Broussard and wife Kelly, Fellman “DD” Broussard and wife Brenda, Ernest Broussard and wife Phyllis, Gerald “Chookie” Broussard and wife Peggy, Arthur Broussard and wife Helen; Mary “Tootsie” Carnahan; Sylvia Behré, and Lisa Gautreau. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Telesphore J. and Adele LeBlanc and Herman and Catherine Munster; three brothers, Earl, William, and Melvin LeBlanc; step-son, Brent Bargas; brothers-in-law, Raymond and Paul Broussard, Jimmy Ordoyne, Paul Letulle, and Emile Aime; father-in-law, Van B. Broussard Sr; and mother-in-law, Hazel Broussard Templet. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, Prairieville. Pallbearers will be Jeff Riley, Scott LeBlanc, Nick Riley, John Tapp, Ken Cambre, Randy Savoy, Rickey Becegeay, and Ed LeBlanc. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernest and Van Broussard.
