Thomas Louis Lee, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was known as “Buddy” to all those who knew and loved him, which was nearly everyone who met him. Born an LSU fan in Baton Rouge, he lived most of his life in Prairieville and loyally worked for Turner Industries at Syngenta for 35 years. It was there he started the Cruisin’ for a Cure Car Show to raise money for cancer research, but his generosity didn’t stop there. He loved gathering with family and friends and enjoyed tinkering and cooking for his family. He is best described as a big guy with an even bigger heart and will be sorely missed by those who he has left behind. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Smith Lee; son, Cody (Andrea) Lee; stepsons, Shane (Caitlin) Firmin, Todd (Becca) Firmin; grandchildren, Parker Lee, Audrey Kay Lee, and Kennedy Firmin; sister Kristin (Chuck) Guidry; aunt, Janice (Doug) Freneaux; mother-in-law, Anna-Marie Grissom; dog, Rosie. He is proceeded in death by his parents Kay Frances Crespo and Thomas Louis Lee, Sr. Family and friends of Buddy are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 9am- 12pm at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Due to Covid restrictions, a Family Only Funeral Mass immediately following visitation. Interment: St. Gabriel Catholic Church Cemetery.
