Trudy Kaye Alberes

A lifelong resident of Sorrento, she passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 60. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ivy and Dena Alberes; daughter and son-in-law, Tressy and Jeremy Simmons; grandchildren, Taylor and Chase Alberes, Blane and Hannah Simmons; and siblings, Delmas and Valerie Everett, Connie Ray and Glenda Everett, Connie Fay Everett and companion, Jorge Arevalo. Preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Ivy John Alberes Sr.; parents, Willie Sam Everett Sr. and Armantine Marie Everett; and siblings, Diane Everett, Joseph Everett, Mary Everett, James Everett, Willie Everett Jr., Lucy Everett, Willie Mae Everett, Dorothy Everett. There will be a visitation at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento Friday, June 27, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael Galea, celebrant. Interment will be in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Trudy’s friend and companion, Duke King.
