Wayne M. Stafford

Funeral services will be held for Mr. Wayne M. Stafford at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement with burial to follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday evening at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Mr. Stafford was well known as a hard worker who was always willing to help anyone in need no matter the circumstance. He enjoyed tending to his cattle, hunting, fishing and attending rodeos. Most of all, Mr. Stafford loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Stafford was a longtime member of the Local 198. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Sinclair Stafford; sons, Waylon Stafford and wife Kelsey, Clinton Stafford and wife Chrissy, Macky Stafford and wife Krystle, Micah Stafford; grandchildren, Hayden , Caitlyn, Kylie, Karsyn, Wesley, Korbin, Dru, Madelyn, Emmy; brothers, Clark Stafford and wife Judy, Robert Stafford, Gary Lambert and wife Lynell and sisters, Sherry Gonzales and husband Bobby, Donna Stanga and husband Joey and Lisa Gregoire. Mr. Stafford’s sons, Robert Stafford and Hayden Stafford will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie “Big D” Guitreau and Douglas Lobell.
