Mr. William F. Biggio Sr.

A loving husband, father and friend. A native of New Orleans, he passed away at his home at The Greens at Pelican Point in Gonzales, just a week short of his 87th birthday. He was a retired Vice President of Union National Life Insurance Company in Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Biggio, his parents, Helen Alciatore Biggio and Charles Biggio; brother, Carlos Biggio; sister, Madelyn Jones; and step-son, Dr. Jeffery Larisey. He is survived by his three children, William (Sonny) Biggio, Craig Biggio, and Brigitte Simoneaux; grandchildren, Derek Simoneaux and Dylan Biggio; three step children, Mike, Karl, and Katie Larisey and their children; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a longtime member of the Sherwood Forest Country Club. He loved golf, poker and was an avid fisherman. He was an excellent artist and enjoyed oil painting and duck sculpting. His later years he spent traveling and casino hopping with his lovely wife, Nita in his motor home. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 2 pm until memorial service at 3 pm. We will miss his positive nature, humor, kindness, and love.
