William J. “Butch” Dupuy, a resident of Prairieville, passed away on September 3, 2015 at the age of 72. Butch was a United States Air Force Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a longtime pipefitter at Turner Industries. Butch is survived by his mother Elma Kramer; daughters, Jennifer Dupuy and Melanie English; son, Bill Dupuy; sisters, Elizabeth Houndshell, Jeanne Ruter, Barbra Shoemaker, Carolyn Willson, Patricia Wolfe, Donna Abbott; brothers, John Kramer, Jr. and Dennis Kramer; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Elton Dupuy; brother, Richard Kramer; grandchildren, William J. Dupuy III, Robert A. Dupuy, and Gracie K. Dupuy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
