William Christopher Ledet was taken into the arms of Jesus unexpectedly on Sunday August 19, 2018
at his home in Geismar, Louisiana. William was 27 years old born February 13, 1991 and was a native of Gonzales. He graduated from St.Theresa Catholic School in Gonzales, Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and graduated in 2014 from LSU in Baton Rouge with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. William was best known for his love of family and friends, his bright smile, great sense of humor, spark of energy everyone needed, gift of gab and outstanding creative writing ability. He was a master of math and amazed many as he could calculate faster than any modern device. William love God, had a generous heart and was attracted and provided in many ways to the less fortunate. William was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and Louisiana Professional Engineers.
Survivors include his loving parents Patricia Ory Ledet and Raymond Ledet, Jr. of Gonzales, his sister Deanna Ledet Saab and husband Louis of Baton Rouge, his brother Michael Joseph Ledet and wife Amanda of Gonzales, niece Anna Frances Saab, nephew Paul Edmond Saab and Godchildren Louis F. Saab, III and James Michael Ledet; Paternal Grandmother Lillian Z. Ledet, Gramercy, Godmother Jennifer Ory Bush, St. Amant, Godfather Scott Michael Louque, Paulina; aunts and uncles Carol Ory and J.B. Kliebert, Marie Boudreaux and John Ory, Jr., Convent; Valerie Ledet and Chris Louque Gramercy; Linda Ledet and Timmy Roussel, Sr., Diane Broussard and Dennis Ledet of Lutcher; Marsha Ledet and OJ (Bud) Garcia of Gonzales; numerous cousins and friends.
William was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Rita Mae Guidry and John Ory, Sr; Paternal Grandfather Raymond Ledet, Sr.; cousin Amber Givens Roussel.
Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home Gonzales on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Gonzales from 9 am until 11 am Mass of Christian burial celebrated by Father Eric Gyan.
