Arturo Reyes, 52, of Angleton, Texas passed away suddenly on Friday, August 24th, 2018 in Waelder, Texas.

Cremation Rites are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Waelder with Father Mike Peinemann officiating, Texas Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Buffington Funeral Home..

Arturo was born in Flatonia, Texas on December 3, 1965. He was the son of Ventura and Julia (Bursiaga) Reyes. He was a hardworking employee of J & B sausage company Inc. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and being a devoted grandfather.

Arturo is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sylvia Garcia. One daughter; Aimee Reyes, three grandchildren; Andruw Reyes, Kenneth Cosme III and Natalee Cosme, ten siblings; Josie Herrera, Dominga Castro, Virginia Reyes, Margie Martinez, Joe Angel Reyes, Gloria Toro, Estela Vega, Gina Reyes, Idella Brown, Norma Reyes and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ventura and Julia Reyes, one brother; Pedro Reyes, and one sister; Victoria Reyes.

My deepest condolence to my cousins, Reyes. I don't remember the last time I saw Tudy, But we sat down and. talked for a little while about him living not too far from Houston, It was so sweet to have talked to him. He kept saying can't believe we are seen each other it's been a long, long time ..... RIP cousin Tudy will be miss
