Dolores M Heredia

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Alfonso Moreno officiating.

Dolores was born on January 1, 1918 in Zargoza Quahilla, Mexico. She was the daughter of Pablo and Antonia (Bursiaga) Heredia. She started working in the fields at a young age with her parents. She liked taking care of her gardens, and cooking what she grew for her family. Dolores liked to crochet and make quilts. She loved being around children. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Guadalupanas.

Dolores is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Pablo and Antonia Heredia, one brother; Jesus Heredia, five sisters; Anselma Heredia, Lucrecia Heredia, Mercedes Galan, Carmen Molina, and Guadalupe Perales.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Heredia will be; Cosmie Molina, Carlos Molina, Candido Molina, Jr., Ross Perales, Ruben Flores, Jr.,and Joe Perales. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Steven Pinson, Johnny Molina, George Molina, and Henry Alvarez.
