Mary Grifaldo and Bazan Family. I had the pleasure of meeting your father Jesse Bazan in Dr.Tweedy's Chemotherapy suite in late 2006, I later relocated to California to join my daughter and her family.
Jesse would call me on holidays to wish me well, it got to the point where I actually looked forward to hearing from him. He never told me that his health was failing. When he didn't call me on Mother's Day 2013, I was disappointed but I was too ill (Cancer again)to call him.
I found him to be a sweet, mild mannered family man for whom I developed a close friendship. We were both undergoing Chemo for our respective type of Cancer. I met Mary and Jesse there and really grew to love the family.
They say that people meet for a reason and a season, ours was to encourage one another through that difficult time. I regret that I did not keep in closer touch with him, as I now feel a deep and hurtful remorse at having lost a dear friend to the inevitable. Please accept my deepest condolences at the loss of such a fine man, father and friend.
