Judy Knapp Smit

Judy Dee Smit, 63, of Round Rock, TX; formally of Gonzales, TX passed away on July 30, 2010. She was born on May 4, 1947 in Lockhart, TX to David and Ruby Knapp. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Henry Smit, and her beloved parents.

She was a manager of the local Golden Chick in Gonzales, TX for 17 years. She loved her job and was a devoted and loved employee. She was known as

“Momma Judy”. She is survived by one son Mark and Angela Smit of Gonzales, TX; two daughters: Donna and John Flook of Lubbock, TX; Michelle and Frank Santos of Round Rock, TX; one brother LeRoy Knapp and five grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Buffington Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
