Albert Harold Simpkins, 84, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Born Monday, February 27, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee and preceded in death by his parents, Thomas David and Rosie Bell Binkley Simpkins; wife, Lillian; daughter, Ruby Sue and his eleven siblings.
Mr. Simpkins is survived by his children, Shirley (Bobby) Meadows, Charles Ray (Sheila) Simpkins, Albert Harold (Carolyn) Simpkins, Jr., Thomas D. (Sandra) Simpkins, Mary K. (Mike) Rainey, Patricia A. (Ronald) Hutton, Barbara Jean (Robert) Mooneyhan, Johnny (Tonya) Simpkins; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 10:00 Monday, June 5, 2017 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Buck Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Simpkins Sunday, June 4,. 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
