Alberta Gregg Sanford, born on Saturday, April 8, 1939, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Goins; parents, Nathaniel and Mattie Gregg.
Alberta was a resident of Dickson, Tennessee, formerly of Springfield, Tennessee she is survived by her son Michael Goins, Sr. and his wife Connie; grandchildren, Carla Taylor (Ricky), Michael Goins, Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Darlene French.
Alberta loved attending church, helping friends; she loved to cook for family get togethers, holidays and decorating and being outdoors, even mowing the grass. She was a HARD worker.
A visitation will be held on January 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 pm.
The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Love.
