To my wonderful Mother.....
You knew not one stranger. Your door always open to anyone (two legs or four). Your heart bigger than life. Your soul always searching for a way to make everyone happy. Always proud of us kids, grandkids and loved to brag on all of us. Now it’s our turn to brag on you!
You were the center of our universe.
Thank you for leaving my children with so many outstanding and wonderful memories of their childhood with you. As we reminisce about your delicious biscuits and gravy, your Worlds best Coleslaw or how you always would take two hours to grocery shop or something silly like when you’d burn a pot of beans LOL! Mom I have so many wonderful and blessed memories with you. We all do! There isn’t enough room here for me to tell you of every moment that was so special and endearing to me. May our Lord wrap you in his healing light and allow you to be the center of the Universe for us “on the other side”. Tell Dad I miss him and I miss hearing him zoom by every morning on his four wheeler. Tell Nanny I love her and can’t wait to see her again. And if you see Mike, well you be sure tell him he’s got one coming when I get there! LOL!
Now go sing! Ooh and I’ll be watching for those beautiful butterflies 🦋 that you’ll send as a sign you’re visiting. And whenever life gets tough down here, I’ll remember to take s breather and go skip some rocks across the water. Don’t worry about us Mom!
All my Love and more!

My sweet Mother wasn't just my Mom, she was my best friend and Co-worker. She spent so many long hours working together in her Tax and Bookkeeping firm. Weekends were full of all the grandchildren running in and out of her house. She loved to cook and take care of all her children and grandchildren, even would pull in the driveway to deliver food and other things just because she thought we needed it. LOL.... If she seen one bug bite on a grandchild, she immediately put them in a tub of water with a little bleach to stop the itch or irritation. My dad built a kitchen table that would seat 12 because he knew Mom was going to cook Sunday breakfast and all the grandchildren would run to her house for biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, pancakes and what ever else she could put together. I do miss those days. Since the passing of my Father, I have spent the last 9 years staying close to her because I knew she was lonely. In 2016 Mom's health started failing and I knew it was my time to take care of her. I will always treasure the relationship I had with her. She raised all her children to be independent and her work ethic ensured her children carried on the same practice. I will miss you my sweet, kind and loving Mother, You were and still are my HERO.

Many wonderful memories of my grandmother...spending nights on "the farm" was what we called it. She had a love for her animals, cards, puzzles and pimento cheese and celery. I shared that love with her and still do accept for the pimento cheese she turned me on to pineapple cream cheese instead. I use to help pick vegetables from her and my grandfathers huge garden. I remember going to her office when I was little and she always made me ramen noodle soup out of the coffee pot. I recall her always singing Chattanooga Choo Choo by the Andrew Sisters. Every holiday she would always make sure to make me my favorite dish and with so many grand kids always being around she would call you atleast (3) different names before finally saying your name. I remember her saying "fiddlesticks" alot as a child I found that so funny, however as an adult I now know she was just watching her mouth around us. I am so grateful to have had her as my grandmother she truly was an amazing, beautiful, charismatic and sharp woman. I know my grandmother was patient here on earth without my grandfather around but she was ready to go home to him ironically on the same day as he went home to the lord 9 years ago. I will miss her dearly I am grateful for every memory with her and I hope I have made her as proud, as I am of her . Love you Memaw
