Augustine Robert "Gus" Fontaine - age 83 passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2013. A retired U S Army E6 Staff Sargent, he was born Saturday, April 6, 1929 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Augustine R. and Linnie Campbell Fontaine.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Fontaine Biggs, Robert Fontaine, Ricky Fontaine; grandchildren, Crystal Tavano, Bobby Fontaine, Kristina Johnson, Jordan Fontaine; great-grandchildren, Kaden Fontaine and Sahara Johnson; sisters Lillian Fontaine and Louise Madden..
Funeral services will be 10:00 Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Fred Maynard officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember at a visitation Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN.
